CONSULTATION VISIT
The consult appointment will take between 15 - 60 minutes based on the needs of your child. After you complete the patient assessment form, Dr. Rodenberg will complete a clinical exam and will review those findings with you. If a frenectomy is indicated, there will be an opportunity to have the procedure completed the same day as the consult appointment.
FRENECTOMY
At the Kentucky Tongue-Tie Center, we use the latest technology and surgical techniques including the use of a LightScalpel CO₂ laser to provide a comfortable experience. After the procedure, our highly trained team will review the necessary stretches and answer any questions you have.
FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS
Our new protocol recommends a one week and possibly a two month follow up after the completion of the procedure. This allows for ample time for the wound to begin the healing process and for Dr. Rodenberg to determine if any follow up care will be needed.

The Kentucky Tongue-Tie Center works with medical insurance plans as an out-of-network provider. Payment is made at the time of service, and your insurance company may reimburse you directly, depending on your plan. We provide all necessary documentation to help you pursue reimbursement.

Evaluation: $80 (waived if a procedure is completed the same day)

Tongue-Tie or Lip-Tie Release: $495 per site (includes all recommended follow-up visits)
